NATURAL DISASTER

It all started on Saturday. It started to rain and the rain was icy. There was a big sheet of ice on the snow, so while you were walking you had to step really hard so you could walk. On Sunday morning the electricity went out. We didn't have it till Monday evening, so we actually couldn't do anything. The roads were all icy and there were also trees on the road. We couldn't go to school on Monday but that wasn't so fun, because I couldn't do anything interesting, I had to study by a small light and the weather was very bad. On Monday evening the electricity came back and it was just great.

ICE AND SNOW
All happend on Friday or on Saturday. It was snowing a lot. I like snow, so that was my favourite day. When I woke up on Sunday morning, I read a book, because I will have a report on Friday or next week. After that I went out. It was a lot of ice on the graund and on the road was a centimeter thick ice. On the boards next to the road was all in ice. In the evening, we didn't have an electric, so we were in the dark, because ice and snow broke wire around in the Slovenia. At 7:00 the electric came back, so we could watch news. I saw there, that on this Mondey won't be school. After a half hour electric went out again. It came back at night. When I woke up in the morning, I saw it, and I was very happy. After breakfast I went on computer and found what happend on Sunday.

It all started on Saturday. While we were skiing outside, it started to rain. The roads started to icy.  Next day before the lunch the electificy went out, so I cound't study in the evening so I went to the bed earlier because I was bored. I didn't have nothing to do. At the evening the electrifiy came back and I got post on Facebook from my classmates. Then it went out again. On Monday we did not have school so I stayed at home. I studied for the history competition and talking to my little brother because he was very bored because he coudn't watch TV or playing computer games. At the evening the electrificy came back and we were very happy.

It all starded on Friday. I was walking home and my mum said that I have to be carefully. I didn't listen to her and I was walking on the ice all the way home. But I didn't know that it will get soo ici in 2 days. it was the worst weekend I have ever have. On Sunday we didn't have any power and trees started to break and it was very scary. And on Monday we didn't have school soo I was home and it was the only good thing about the ice. Now I think it will be a lot of flooding because one day the ice will start to melt.

It all started on suterday, when it started to rain and it was so cold, the water became ice. Me, my dad, my mom and my little sister went to Ljubljana, because my mom got a new car. In the mornong, evrything was OK, but when me, my mom and my little sister went home in the new car, the ice started making on the bonnet of the car. We needed to buy some groceries, so we went to the store in Trebnje. My dad was really worried, because of the icy roads, but we came home safly.

We were at home on sunday. My little sister had a birthday party and all of the family came.She invited some friends and Pia came to me. I saw a post on Facebook, that in monday there will bw no school in some parts of Slovenia. We didn't know if it won't be in Mokronoog too, so we looked everywhere to figure that out. Ouroun seven o'clock, our teacher called and said that there will be NO school. We had to call all of our classmates. My big sister wasn't so lucky. She had school in Monday.

On Monday my sister woke me up at five o'clock, bacause she had to get ready for school, but then there was no bus, because it was stuck in traffic, so she came home and wokw me up again an hour later. I slept on later till ten o'clock and than I studied for history competition naxt day. I studied all day, but then I got the nws: Bacause of extreme weather the competition was removed. THANK GOD!

NATURAL DISASTER 

It all started on Friday, I think. It was snowing all day and it was raining at night. Next day everthing was icey. The trees and flowers were frozen and snow was covered in ice. It was all over the news too. They were talking about how bad and cold the weather is. It started to get worse on Sunday, because a lot of trees fall down and most of the people were out of electrisity. We were very lucky that day because we still had it. So because of all that around 190 schools were off. Me and my friends didn't had to go to school on Monday, but we went out and had fun on ice. 

Film Review

Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl

If you like adventure and fantasy films and if you like a lot of humor, you should definitely watch at least first part of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. Johnny Depp plays leading role and it is directed by Gore Verbinski.

Will Turner (Orlando Bloom) tries to save the love of his live Elizabeth Swann (Keira Knightly) from the pirates that kidnaped her. But for that he needs help from a captain without a ship, Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp). Later Will discovers, that his father was also a pirate and that evil pirates leading by captain Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush) need his blood to be saved from the curse. In the mean time all that Jack wants is his beloved ship Black Pearl back from Barbossa. But will he help his new friend anyway? Or is he too selfish to risk anything? For that you need to see this film.

The film has breathtaking sceens, and amezing special efffects. The acting is perfect and you never know what comes next. But it can also get a bit scary in some moments.

If you decide to wach this movie don't forget to play it complitly to the end! If you like it you can see the next three films: Dead Man's Chest, At World's end and On Strangers Tides.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

 If you like advanture or fantasy genre Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is a film to see. Daniel Radcliffe stars in it as Harry Potter and David Yates directs it. 
 Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is the seventh and the final part of Potter saga. It's based on british author J.K.Rowling's novels. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (book) is the last book that she wrote for Potterheads. There is a lot of attention in the film, so it is devided on two parts. 
As Harry's journey continues to stop Lord Voldemort from killing him and being the master of death, Harry's getting on his way with the help of his best friends Ron Weasley, played by Rupert Grint, and Hermione Granger, played by beautiful Emma Watson. Following Dumbledore's death, Voldemort continues to gain support and increase his power. While the three best friends are trying to stop him, they find the mysterious story (that not a lot of people believe to) of the three magical objects that are mentioned in "The tale of three brothers". They find out that they have to find them before Voldemort does. But he already got one, so will they make it? Also the story complicates to diffrent tasks that are very dangerous. Because other students from Hogwarts and Order of Phoenix don't want Harry to get killed, Voldemort gathers all the Death Eathers and they attack Hogwarts. The school turns into a battlefild and even the teachers fight back. But nothing can stop The One That Should Not Be Named, so will Harry survive the curse of death? 
 The special effects are awesome and so are stunts. The soundtrack is great and acting is very cool. The scenes are very detailed and realistic, though they were shooting in the studio. The only thing that is important is that you have to watch all the  Harry Potter parts before this one, so you can understand everthing and journey with Harry and his friends! 
 The film must be watched by every Potterhead. I would recommend it to advanture and science-fiction fans, but everyone can watch it if they know something about the books. Also this production end can be the start for a lot of people that didn't watch HP till now. 
 "It all ends here" is writen on the posters, but it doesn't for fans, because there is a Harry Potter World in the Leavesden Studios, so everyone can see the scenes and special effects ( make up, clothes, special important things, animal trainings, ...)

 THE HOST

     If you like romance, science-fiction and adventure, The Host is a film to see. Saoirse Ronan stars in this film and Andrew Nicols directs.

   Ronan plays the leading role as Melanie Stryder, later as Wanderer. It all begins, when the planet Earth is attacked by invisible enemies, who see a bad civilization in people, so they try to erase them from the universe. “Peaceful enemies” appropriate people’s bodies and put their “clean souls” in people’s bodies, so they could make illness, wars and other terrible things despair. Most of people succumb and become hosts, just a few of them survive. To people who survive, comes a soul named Wanderer and she submits human’s persistent mind; that makes her follow her host’s love. Will she find him and will he like her?

 This film is full of surprises. One moment, everything is romantic and the next moment it takes your breath away. Special effects and the stunts create a great atmosphere. The film’s only disadvantage is that some scenes are quite hard to understand.

 This film will not appeal to everyone. I would recommend it to those, who like science fiction but also romantic effects.

Escape plan

     If  you like thriller, 'Escape plan' is the film to see. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone are stars in this film. Director is Mikael Håfström .

     Sylvester Stallone  plays the leading role as  Ray Breslin. to escapes from the prison is his job. His last job is Tomb. Deceived and wrongly imprisoned, Ray Breslin must recruit fellow inmate Emil Rottmayer to help devise a daring, nearly impossible plan to escape from the most protected and fortified prison ever built. He is very smart but he need a friend to escape.

      This film is full of suspense. It has got a lot of scenes when it take you breath. The film's only disadvantage is ending. It is very complicated but happy ending.

      I will not appeal to everyone. I would recommend it to thriller-lovers, special for lovers  Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone.

Blue Lagoon: The awakening

If you like adventure, 'Blue Lagoon: The awakening' is the film to see. Indiana Evans and Brenton Thwaites star in this film and Mikael Salomon directs.

Indiana and Brenton play the leading role as Emma and Dean. They are two high school students on a class trip to Trinidad to build a school for children and explore the island. During the boat party, Emma falls from the boat and Dean jumps in the water to save her. Then they drift in a dinghy to tropical island. At first they strictly remain friends, but then their feeling start to blossom and it evolves into a romantic relationship. They are very happy and full of love. But Will they escape the evil island?

I think that film is a bit dissappointing because there are not as many interesting scenes as other parts of the Blue Lagoon, where the main roles weren't civilized and that made them interesting.

 

This film will not appeal to everyone. I would recommed it to adventure lovers and to those who enjoy romantic effects.

The Tourist 

If you like romantic, comedy and thriller, The Tourist is the movie to see. Angelina Joulie and Johnny Depp are stars in this movie and Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck directs.

Angelina Joulie and Johnny Depp play the leading roles. Angelina Joulie as Elise Clifton-Ward and Johnny Depp as Frank Tupelo. Elise Clifton-Ward is a lady, police is following her all the time, because she used to be an agent for the police but she betrayaled them by helping Alexander Pearce. When she sees Frank Tupelo she fall in love with him and the police is thinking that that is Alexander Pearce. What will heppen?
Will they put him in the jale?

This movie has some breathtaking scenes. Movie is filmed in France and it is so beautifull. One thing that I hate is when they speak french you don't know what are they talking about. But other then that is very nice and lovely movie.

If you enjoy romantic, comedy and action then you will love this movie. I would recommend to all of you because is a type of movie that everybody can enjoy!

A FILM REVIEW 

THE HANGOVER 

      If you like comedies, then The Hangover is movie to see. Bradley Cooper stars in it and Todd Phillips directs it. It came out in june 5th 2009.
     Bradley Cooper( as Phil),  Zach Galifianakis ( as Alan), Ed Helms (as Stu) and Justin Bartha (as Doug) play the leading roles. The film talks about 4 best friends (Phil, Alan, Doug and Stu) and Doug is getting married. Two days before the wedding they go to Las Vegas to have a bachelor party. It all stars good, but later Alan puts the drugs into their drinks and in the morning, they all wake up with a hangover, they finde Mike Tyson's tiger in their bathroom and someones baby in their room. But, Doug is missing. So the rest 3 boys have a mission to finde the froom before the wedding. But will they finde him?
      The  Hangover was very big financial succes, it has won a Golden globe, MTV movie awards and a lot of others. It's very funny, it has some action scenes, good music and a great cast. The only disavantage is that is not appropriate for small children.
       All in all this comedy won't appeal to everyone. I would reccomend it to all the comedy lovers and thoose who like films with a great music in it.

Hunger games

If you like fantasy films 'Hunger games' is the film to see.The leading role is Katniss Everdeen play by Jennifer Lawrence.
Katniss Everdeen is just a normal girl in district 12, before the Capitolcalls her sister to join games, where 24 tributes from all 12 districts come into arena where they fight to death, that games are called Hunger games. Katniss volunteers instead her sister and goes to her porobably death with Peeta Mellark, the boy from her district. After a lot of expiriences and trainig they're called to arena.
This film has some amazing special effects,breathtaking clothes and a lot of wonderfull actors. The film's only disadvatnage is that Katniss is taking too much spotlights from Peeta.
I love this movie and I would recommend it zo people who love fantasy films with a bit of action and to those who enjoy special effects.
