It is extremly relaxing for me, which kind of reminds me of meditation, and unlike watching TV or playing video games it is great for your health. I can concentrate more easily after a good run and studying is easier as well. And everyone can run, you don't need any special equipment. Risk of injures is also very small if you don't cross your limits, you should gradually increase the distance when starting out,
There are different types of running. Short distance running run on distances shorter than 3 kilometres, and long distance runners run on distances longer than 3 kilometres. I prefere the latter, as I find it more relaxing since you don't run out of breath like when you're sprinting.
I'll try running the half marathon this year. I usually run 7 kilometres every time when I'm normally running for fun.
