Spring in city park

Last month, in the city parks, the grass was cut, the flower-beds were weeded and resowed with seeds, and the paths were swept. The goldfish were took out of the ornamental pond and put temporarily into small tanks. Then the pond was emptied of water, cleaned and refilled with fresh water before the fish were put back into it. The fountain in the middle of the pond was tested to see that it was worked properly. The wooden benches were mended, if necessary, and then painted. Finally, coloured light were hung in all the trees.
